Castlerock Walkfest, Co. Derry~Londonderry, 5th Sept
Organised by Castlerock Community Association in conjunction with the National Trust this annual festival offers a wide range of guided walks in the Binevenagh AONB - a dramatic and unspoilt area of hill, moor, forest and beach.

Wee Binnian Walking Festival, Mournes, Slieve Gullion and Cooley Mountains, Co. Down, 11th-13th Sept
Known as the social club that walks, the Newry-based Wee Binnian Walkers organise this fun-filled festival with fabulous landscapes, friendly people and nightly entertainment. 

Sperrins & Killeter Walking Festival, Co. Tyrone, 12th-13th Sept
Head for the hills and discover the beauty of the Sperrins AONB. Easy strolls, moderate treks, challenging hill walks and extreme hikes across some of the most dazzling landscapes led by local guides and mountain leaders.


Gobbins Cliff Path Officially Open – 19th Aug

The wait is almost over for the opening of the The Gobbins cliff path - a spectacular new walking route on the very edge of the Irish Sea at Islandmagee, Co. Antrim, 20 miles north of Belfast and just off the epic Causeway Coastal Driving Route.

Walkers can expect bridges, tunnels, caves, steps, unique rock formations and stunning views along the cliff path.  Only accessible via guided tour expect to see the waves crashing into the cliffs, feel the wind in your hair and witness the natural wonder of the coastline up close as you walk the winding cliff path.
