The Narnia Trail, Kilbroney Park, Rostrevor, Co. Down
This family trail seeks to capture the imagination of children of all ages. C S Lewis was inspired by this area to imagine, dream and create the magical world of Narnia.

Kilbroney Tree Trail, Rostrevor, Co. Down
Trees mark the seasons, inspire us with their beauty in the landscape and even provide us with the air we breathe. This trail guides through Kilbroney Park to a number of notable trees.

Connswater Community Greenway, Belfast, Co. Antrim
Follow in the footsteps of C.S. Lewis along Belfast's Green Corridor which runs alongside the Connswater, Knock and Loop rivers, from the Castlereagh Hills to Belfast Lough.

Omagh & Sperrins Walking Festival

Come and explore the Sperrins during the 2018 Omagh & Sperrins Walking Festival.

A series of walks are available ranging from challenging, moderate & easy (family orientated) over two days at a cost of £3 - £5. Online booking is advisible as places are limited.

Mourne Wall Restoration Project

Have you caught sight of a helicopter flying overhead in the Mournes recently?

Some 84 bags of stones have been airlifted to the Mourne mountains since last November to help with the Mourne Wall Restoration Project.

Northern Ireland Water, which owns the wall, expects work on the low altitude areas to be finished this month.

UFRC Host Successful Spring Gathering

On Saturday 3rd March 2018 the Ulster Federation Of Rambling Clubs (UFRC) held their Spring Gathering in Co. Antrim.

Walkers from across Northern Ireland joined together to enjoy an action-packed day of inspirational talks, great food and skills based workshops. Keynote speakers included Murrough McDonagh CEO of Mountaineering Ireland and RTE & TG4 Presenter & Explorer Dermot Somers.
